As a Video Editor intern at Edversity, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for various educational purposes. Your role will involve working closely with the content and marketing teams to create engaging and informative videos that align with Edversity’s brand and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Edit and enhance raw video footage, ensuring high-quality production standards and maintaining brand consistency.
Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
Trim, rearrange, and optimize video clips to create a cohesive and engaging final product.
Collaborate with the content team to understand video requirements and objectives.
Assist in scripting and storyboarding for educational videos.
Ensure proper audio synchronization, clarity, and overall audiovisual quality.
Select and integrate suitable background music and sound effects.
Edit and produce videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and online learning platforms.
Manage and organize video files and maintain an organized video library.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production.
Requirements:
Proficiency in any video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts and ideas into visually appealing videos.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across different video projects.
Basic knowledge of video file formats, compression, and exporting for various platforms.
Familiarity with video production equipment and techniques.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
Note: This is an internship position, and applicants should be currently enrolled in a university program or recently graduated.
